Cutting snowflakes
After cutting so many white paper, Chloe decided to make a collage:
The children practice blowing through a straw to create heaps of "snow" on their tray.
We compared all the snowflakes that children had made the previous week, and saw how each one was so beautiful and unique. The children then watched as we hung up their snowflakes, to transform our classroom into a winter wonderland.
Book Response:
"Snowballs" by Lois Ehlert has different snow people made out of various creative items. After looking through the illustrations in the book, the friends invented their own snow characters on their own papers.

Literacy Skill:
Here, the children used buttons and pipe cleaners to forms winter related words.
After examining winter themed pictures, and noticing trees, and snow; the children added twigs, and cotton ball snowflakes to our winter scene in our classroom.
Using droppers to color the snow.
Pajama day was the highlight of our week. It was a cozy and warm day in our class.
Our friend were so excited to find cocoa play dough in the sensory table, and were busy making cocoa, and coffee for each other, and their Mommies and Daddies.
During the learning circle, each friend proudly presented their home toy, and their cozy pajamas to their friends.

On Friday we celebrated Sam's third birthday.
We would like to wish Sam to grow healthy and happy, and continue to be a sweet, loving and sensitive boy, giving his family and friends much Nachas.
